Thank you for your interest in Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic School. For over 50 years, SFC has been committed to providing a safe and caring environment, one that is spiritually engaging and intellectually stimulating. SFC is a community “Where Christ Embraces All,” and we believe that every child is a unique gift from God. Our job is to help each child discover their God given talents and nurture those talents to allow each child the ability to shine.

Whole Child Approach to Education

Our goal is to educate the whole child: academically, socially, and spiritually.

  • In addition to the strength of our core academic program, there are full-time dedicated teachers in art, science, music, and Spanish courses.
  • Students have dedicated time in each grade to focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and learn about interpersonal relationships, effective conflict resolution, expressing feelings, and more.
  • All students are taught the values of the Catholic faith and are encouraged to think beyond themselves and how they can serve the larger community.

Acceptance of all learning styles

At SFC, we understand that students learn in a variety of ways. Our teachers work hard to differentiate instruction to ensure that all students have access to truly mastering what is being taught.

Relationships

Through participation in the many volunteering opportunities, the school fosters and promotes a strong sense of community, where children, as well as their families, are able to develop lifelong lasting friendships.

Leadership

Students have continuous opportunities to demonstrate and develop character and exercise good judgment, a strong and fundamental foundation that allows them to excel in high school and beyond.

Nurturing and Belonging

Children engage in the Buddy Program, where older students are tasked with caring for and guiding younger ones. This provides an opportunity for younger students to look up to the older ones who learn responsibility and empathy for their younger peers.

Inclusiveness and Respect

Children learn to be accepting and respectful of everyone by understanding that while people share differences, the commonalities which unite us are more valuable than the differences.
